Jhep was introduced to a women empowerment group that was founded by few active Zilla Parishad schoolteachers from Pathardi and Tisgaon area of Ahmednagar District. This group has now expanded to include other like-minded community members as well. Jhep also became a member of this group in 2020 and has continued to actively participate in this group’s discussion related to employment generation, financial and other assistance to single/widow women and men in need. Jhep intends to continue to offer financial literacy, gender awareness, and other trainings and workshops based on the needs expressed by this group’s members.
